You can call us SaCI(Sachi) for short - in Japanese, sachi ‘幸（さち） means ‘happiness and luck’.
Based in Melbourne, Sakura Communication Institute is a Japanese language learning institute that provides Japanese language courses to students all over the world!

Yuri Sensei is an amazing teacher who I owe a lot to both in terms of the development of my Japanese abilities and also in passing the JLPT N3 exam. She is always able to provide me with helpful explanations for parts where I don’t understand, and always gives me good advice about what I should work on next. I’m actually probably a bit of a crazy student, because there’s always a lot of different things I want to work on, but Yuri Sensei is very flexible and kind about this!

私の名前は、ゆりです。
I’m Yuri from Japan in Chiba and grew up in Malaysia. I’ve been in MEL for 7 years.
I’ve been working as a Japanese teacher for almost 5 years.
I have so much passion for teaching Japanese and making fun. Japan is such a great country of “Omotenashi”, the Manners and the culture I would love to teach it.
I am licensed for Primary and Special schools. I’m able to teach adults as well as children (iB/VCE/any school materials).
Hobbies and interests; Coffee (I’m a trained barista), Cooking, Movies, Drinking, Handcraft, Nail art, Walking, Travel, Fashion
I want to try; Glamping, an Australia city trip, Tufting.
